Biography 

Showcasing the beauty of animals in motion, and the tender side of people, both young and old, is what touches Vickie’s heart and is a common theme in her art.  The primarily self taught artist creates her works mainly in oil and pencil.

Helping friends on their ranch as well as having grown up raising cattle and hunting and fishing has given Vickie the insight to create truly authentic western art.  People can relate to the ‘stories’ in her paintings and drawings as they come from personal experience.

To Vickie, a truly successful painting is one that evokes emotion from the viewer in addition to being pleasing to the eye.
